Daddy's Day

We had a BBQ at my house and played some fun games! I was so happy to spend Father's Day with my dad, my step-dad, my grandpa, and JD (plus the women, but they don't matter in this post) :)

Best Dad ever!

My  mom and cute grandpa :)

Uhh...wedgie, anyone?

JD took this pic. Can you tell?

My dad said, "They have to hold their beer. It keeps them balanced." haha

Girls Day in Salt Lake

Oakley, Kadynce, Charlie, Natasha, and I ate some lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen then hit the Discovery Center to play!

It was a little tough handling all 3 girls in such a crowded place. They kept running away because they were so excited :)

Now, Natasha has another girl. We will NOT be doing this again without the men to help! ;)

The kids had a ton of fun so it was definitely worth it!

Gage found this box on his own, put it on, and turned it so his face was showing. SO funny!

Kisses!

Kadynce eats smores like a normal camper...

Oakley sits in the trailer and gives me an evil look.

Reality

After posting my last post, I had a thought run through my head:
"Whoa, I wish our life really WAS like my blog shows it to be."
Although we do like to have a great time, we are still human.

Sometimes JD drives me nuts, sometimes I drive him nuts and we DO have arguments.
Raising 2 spoiled little girls is HARD! They only get a long some of the time. They argue, hit each other, pull hair, scratch...you name it.
JD and I both have a job that we attend to every weekday. Sometimes JD goes on the weekends.
We have bills. Daycare, groceries, house payment. It's all so expensive!
Coming up with dinner meals every night is tougher than I thought!
We try to go to the 'dreaded' gym a couple times a week.
We have been having problems with our insurance agent for 6 months.
I'm STILL in college and I'm pretty sure that JD almost broke up with me last semester when I was so overwhelmed and ornery with my classes.
Oakley has been potty training for SOOOO long and sometimes I get so frustrated that I scream at her and it makes us both cry. To make it better, Kadynce will be 2 in August and we have to do it all again!
Many many more...

With all this being said: I will still finish school, we will still work until we retire (come on lottery), and we will still have another spoiled brat (come on boy parts). REALITY!!

Although we complain, I am so grateful that we are lucky enough to have the jobs we have and I am also very blessed with the family and friends we share our life with. We will continue to (think we can) live like rockstars!! :)
"Whatever makes you feel like a rockstar!"

Randoms

Just some things that have been happening:

JD and I went to the airshow and spent the day with a bunch of friends and family.

We have snakes, grasshoppers, and really big frogs our yard. Oakley names them all "Sara". Sara- do you know why she does that?

Boys like to wear my girl sun glasses.

I love what we've done with the yard, so far!

Oakley plays at the park- Round and round and round

"She thinks we're just fishin"

Her first time eating sushi. She actually liked the sushi and she watched me use chopsticks so she tried using them, too!

Oh by the way, in the middle of a nice dinner she wines and yells, "I have skidmarks in my panties!"
WHAT?! I guess she was having skidmark problems. No big deal.

How to be of use while the men are changing out a clutch:

1.  Drink my "not spiked" mango slurpee.
2.  Read my "not hott AT ALL" book.
3.  Watch my "not sexy" man do manly things.
4.  Relax in the "freezing" weather.

Jeez, life is tough ;)
